Eraserheads Reunion Concert 2013

Capturing the interest of more than one generation and taking imagination levels to the moon and back. Nonetheless, when I found out they were performing comeback reunion concert  and officially announced  lined up for Du Music Festival, there was no way I wasn’t gonna #bookit.

Influenced by my friends, I was a huge fan of E-heads when I was little. Apart from owning a copy of all their CD’s and constantly playing them. So you could just imagine how thrilled (no pun intended)

I feel fortunate enough to have seen that freak of a legend a bit up close LOL. Definitely one of those “I wuz there when it happened”

Eraserheads, or E-Heads is a Filipino rock band of the 90s, formed by Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Buddy Zabala and Marcus Adoro. The band is one of the most successful, most influential, critically acclaimed, and significant bands in the history of OPM.

COMIC CON 2013

 

The Middle East Film and Comic Con, (MEFCC) took place April 5 and 6, attracting comic book lovers and movie enthusiasts of the region. The event was held second time in Dubai .

 The Comic Con invited the biggest names in comic, Manga, film and TV. Celebrities included Alan Tudyk best known for role of the playful, easy-going Hoban “Wash” Washburne in the television series Firefly, cosplay queen Alodia Gosiengfiao (Pinay Pride) among many more who took the time to sign autographs and talk to fans. 

 The event invited attendees to dress up as their favorite comic book characters and bring along their appetite for fun. The event had everything from comics, merchandise to panel discussions, workshops, screening of movie and photo shoots with artists to name a few. 

Was able to chat and ate pizza with Max Landis, hollywood scriptwriter. We even attended the 3D workshop wherein the maker of Space Jam was the speaker.
